Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the acceptance rate of the use of Discord as a communication media that has been applied using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The method used in collecting data in this study was the observation method and the questionnaire method which was carried out online via google form and distributed to all members of the MLJ community. The population in this study amounted to 153,216 people obtained based on the estimated number of Discord users in Jambi. The sample was calculated using the Slovin formula resulting in 100 people consisting of members of the MLJ community. The data retrieval instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5. The data analysis used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of this study are (1) perceived ease of use has a positive and significant perceived usefulness, (2) perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on attitude toward using, (3) perceived ease of use has no a significant effect on attitude toward using, (4) Attitude toward using has a positive and significant effect on behavioral intentions, (5) perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on behavioral intentions, (6) behavioral intention has a positive and significant effect on actual usage.
